The location is fantastic—just a 30-minute walk from Jakarta Gambir Station and 15 minutes from the National Museum of Indonesia and the National Monument. The hotel is conveniently situated above a mall with a small supermarket, a donut shop, and a Subway. Despite its central location, I slept incredibly well, which was a huge relief given my struggles with insomnia. The rooms are well soundproofed, and the soft "white noise" from the air conditioning effectively blocks out traffic sounds. Being able to rest peacefully in a city as hectic as Jakarta was a major highlight. The hotel room itself was beautiful, spacious, and featured a comfortable bed with four pillows to choose from. However, the best part of my stay was the swimming pool—long, large, and perfect for my daily swim practice. There were plenty of lounge chairs, though the pool’s operating hours (6:00 AM to 7:00 PM) felt a bit early for a closing time. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. As a thoughtful gesture, they even brought me three small cakes as a welcome gift, which I truly appreciated. If there's one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast buffet. While the Asian dishes, especially the fuyunghai, were excellent, the Western pastries were old and stale. I understand the hotel’s effort to minimize food waste, but serving hard, days-old muffins isn’t the best approach.
